When Mark Twain set up the Library in Redding, it was his humble request that it operate without the aid of municipal funding because it was the government that had banned his books. “The Seated Rose”- California Rose is Ancona’s small way of supporting the Library which they consider a valuable asset to the community. The wine is produced in Mendocino. It is a delicious pink that is made from a happy blend of old vine grenache and syrah. Ancona’s partnered with James Grashow to name and label the wine.
